From the reviews

I absolutely have loved my experience at Wu-Tao-Di. I entered the academy with no martial arts experience and have learned so much, not only about the beauty and grace of Tai Chi but about Chinese medicine and philosophy as well.

After watching my 12 y/o week after week attend the Wu-Tao-Di Academy, I am convinced that his life has been enriched and I would encourage any parent to have their child experience this life enhancing art form.

Shifu is a powerful, clear, and holds great integrity. I have been studying under him for almost a year off and on, and his grasp of the classics of Taoism has opened many doors for me. Everything from mastering my emotions to grasping the ungraspable flow of the Tao.

You WILL NOT find another academy like this in this state, let alone this country. You will be amazed how well you feel just by surrounding yourself with the people that have come to find the same thing you are looking for.

Your first tai chi class at Wu-Tao-Di Academy

Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.

Tai chi is gentle and low-impact, but it's still exercise, and the health notes here are general information, not medical advice. If you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them to the instructor before class, and check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program.
