From the reviews
I've been dancing with Diane for about ten years now. Sure, I've had lessons with other and many instructors are quite good but there is no better teacher around. She's been around as an instructor for many, many years, and can always bring the student along at the pace that he or she can handle.
I've been taking Tai Chi classes and training for 5+ years and have found Ralph Q to be an exceptional instructor and advocate for the discipline. His knowledge and details of the Tai Chi movements have improved my appreciation of the form and I highly recommend and encourage attendance at his training classes.
Enjoy Ralph's classes very much. Gain great benefit from it with dealing with my arthritis. Beverly
Ralph is an excellent instructor. He is very patient and knowledgeable. I have enjoyed his classes for many years.
Your first tai chi class at Taichi Qigong Health
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
