From the reviews
I have attended the Martial Arts Center for Health (MACH) for about 10 years. I am an allopathic trained physician and Medical Director of a local medical entity. I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have had this condition since I was in my mid 20’s.
The Martial Arts Center for Health is transformative for your well-being, both physically and mentally. The staff members are caring, professional and encouraging. No matter your age, condition, present or past experience, this is the place you belong. The benefits are real and ever growing.
2019: Because of the Martial Arts Center for Health and the OUTSTANDING instructors, I am physically and mentally in the best shape of my life. There are no words to truly explain the difference this place has made for me. (I've been a student for 1-1/2 years.
If you’re looking to do something for both your physical and mental health - you’ve come to the right place. It’s hard to put into words exactly what the Martial Arts Center for Health means to me.
Your first tai chi class at Martial Arts Center for Health
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
