From the reviews

Amazing classes, and amazing teacher (who teaches all the classes). I've been going for nearly three months, almost daily, and have never had the same class twice -- rarely even the same postures. It's a very powerful, yet ultimately relaxing, class, and at the end I always feel drained and refreshed.

I have been playing around with the idea of trying yoga for years but always put it off. It was finally time and I found the right place. The studio, instructor and students were unassuming. The class was informative and helped with my stress immediately.

★★★★★ — Blair, May 2018

Gentle yet challenging classes that leave you with a feeling of deep peace. The classes are never the same, so it is always fresh. Both Keshava and Radha have extensive knowledge of anatomy and are quick to notice your placement and offer modifications to keep you safe.

★★★★★ — Kathy, Aug 2018

Small, peaceful studio with great people, both the teachers and students. This classic style isn't exercise, it's therapy for your body and soul. Meditative, slow, but intense.

Your first tai chi class at Keshava Radha Yoga Inc.

Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.

Tai chi is gentle and low-impact, but it's still exercise, and the health notes here are general information, not medical advice. If you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them to the instructor before class, and check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program.
