From the reviews
Master Yu is an amazing teacher, she is a true Tai Chi master. She is amazing as a human being. She is a true healer... I have learned a lot from her great knowledge and experience. Especially for people with trauma (depression, sadness) Tai Chi ☯️ is a very good healing method.
Master Shifu is a superior instructor; very caring, patient and phenomenally knowledgeable with the highest standards and understanding of this ancient martial art form. Whether just starting out or with a seasoned practice, she will welcome you and elevate your capabilities, with a focus on Mind/Body wellness.
I’ve been a full-time student of the Yu School for six months now, and I believe it’s the perfect time to share my review of Master Shifu’s Tai Chi teachings. With decades of practice and teaching, Master Shifu demonstrates her mastery through her graceful and powerful movements.
I’ve enjoyed qigong classes a lot for the last month, The sessions are calm, well-guided, and easy to follow—even if you’re completely new. The movements are gentle but very effective for relaxing the body and clearing the mind. I always leave class feeling more balanced, energized, and less stressed.
Your first tai chi class at Yu School for Tai Chi, Qigong & HAPPY Healing
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
