From the reviews
I love Tai Chi and Qi Gong classes with Linda! She is a kind and generous teacher. She provides a fun and safe environment in which to learn with an excellent balance of technique and theory, and is able to incorporate her students' diverse learning styles into her teaching method.
Shortly after I retired, I looked for a local, authentic Tai Chi / Qigong school. I found what I was looking for at Crane Tiger Tai Chi. With her depth and breadth of subject knowledge, Linda is an excellent instructor.
I have been studying Tai Chi with Linda for almost 6 years. She is a true master and has guided me from having difficulty with steps to feeling the flow from the beginning of the form through the end.
Great teacher with wide and deep knowledge of many forms of Tai Chi. Classes have always been enjoyable with a massive amount of learning at basic and even more advanced levels.
Your first tai chi class at Crane Tiger Tai Chi
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
