From the reviews

Must say was a wonderful experience. The environment is soothing and comfortable. Appointment was easy to set with clear expectations. Was welcomed by Jose Vega with a calm, caring approach. Services were amazing, felt a relief from leg pain just about immediately. Highly recommend :).

I'm not sure I have ever experienced a body healer who is as informed and in touch with the body systems, structure, and functions as Jose. And not only informed, but connected to, and able to feel, address, and subtly manipulate the body to get it back to optimum health and mobility.

I've always been a skeptic of any form of therapy, but after Jose gave me a very clear explanation of what he does and how it works I decided to give him a chance. The first session was noticeable progress, and after the second the pain I'd been feeling for years hasn't been back since.

★★★★★ — Red, Jul 2017

I have been seeing Jose for a few years now and he does amazing work! He is very intuitive and knows what he is doing and does it well. I came in for issues from a car accident, which affected my right side. Not only did I walk out more balanced but he helped unlock my left wrist - which I hadn't even mentioned.

Your first tai chi class at Vega Care

Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.

Tai chi is gentle and low-impact, but it's still exercise, and the health notes here are general information, not medical advice. If you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them to the instructor before class, and check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program.
