“And, yet I am taking my 2nd session period of TaiChi with Brian and have learned so much, feel stronger and my balance is definitely improving.”
From the reviews
I could not have asked for a better introduction to Tai Chi, which is something I have long hoped to learn and practice. The master, Brian, is not only skilled at the art, but he is a gifted teacher.
If someone told me a few years ago that I would sign up for a TaiChi class, I would have said you are nuts. And, yet I am taking my 2nd session period of TaiChi with Brian and have learned so much, feel stronger and my balance is definitely improving. Brian is patient ...thank goodness.
The instructor is outstanding. He is both determined and patient. We learn a great deal in class with new content and challenges in each one. He often gives attention to individuals, helping everyone to keep up, and he explains the application of specific moves clearly.
My daughter absolutely loves taking Kung Fu classes with Sihing Weaver. She has been there for over a year. She is learning alot and instructor is very good with the kids. If your looking for somewhere to get your kids involved, this is the place for you.
Your first tai chi class at Tai Chi Kung Fu Tao
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
