From the reviews
My son has been attending Moy Martial Arts for the past year and half, and I can't say enough great things about Mark Moy and the way he teaches the children. My 7 year old son has grown in strength, confidence and character during his time with Sifu Mark.
Moy martial arts is the best! My small human loves everything about her classes here. She’s gained so much confidence in her body and her self in the couple of months she’s been been taking lessons. The focus on kindness and having a positive attitude really reaches the children.
Sifu Moy is the real deal.... Extremely talented but humble, welcoming and patient with everyone. My son did the entire kids program here and I'm in the TaiChi class now. I can't say enough about Mark. He is an incredible person
If you want the real deal martial arts training look no further. I started training with Grand Master Moy in 1995 at age 10. My life changed instantly. He has a way with youth like nobody else and as a father watching my son train with him almost 30 years later I can pinpoint the details.
Your first tai chi class at Moy Martial Arts & Tai Chi Academy
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
