From the reviews
I recommend Gary to anyone who is looking for long term solutions and change. I have a lot of different issues which massage, PT, and chiropractic, alone could not solve. Gary is a pillar in my overall strategy for mobility, balance, and strength.
Gary is amazing! I've been seeing him once a month for at least 5 years and feel as though he's been a partner in caring for myself the whole time. His massages are fantastic but what really sets him apart is his knowledge of the body mechanics. He's like having a physical therapist and massage therapist in one.
Gary understands how to unwind and release the tension my body has held for years.I can not recommend him more than I do, he is kind, knowlegeable, and he helps my body make long-lasting, postive changes. My body is more comfortable and I can enjoy my physical lifestyle because of his work.
Gary is a magician! He has been taking care of my beat up body for many years, I cannot imagine going to anyone else for the quality of service Gary provides. As a powerlifter and a busy strength coach and mom, I need someone who knows their stuff and is a person I want to actually see every month.
Your first tai chi class at Integrative Arts
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
