“He is an amazing teacher no matter your level.”
From the reviews
David is a fantastic instructor. His class is well paced. I went in as a complete novice and he really took his time with me. His passion for tai chi is evident in his teaching. The classes had people of all ages and abilities. I can't recommend his class more.
I learned Tai Chi from David for many years and would highly recommend his school and him as a teacher. He is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and goes out of his way to ensure that every student has every opportunity to learn the art of Tai Chi, regardless of prior experience or personal challenges.
I have being going to Daves classes for years. He is an amazing teacher no matter your level. He is incredibly patient and seems to always know how to make everyone feel comfortable. If you are thinking about trying tai chi, his classes are a perfect start.
Your first tai chi class at Yulong Tai Chi Chuan
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
