From the reviews
Great place to learn kung fu. Sifu (master) is very friendly and knowledgeable and loves and breathes kung fu. He creates a positive aura around him and he takes so much interest in personally attending to each student inspite of a room full of students.
Great instructors, great environment and overall energy. If you're thinking of joining a martial arts school, this is the right place to come! Everyone is always so friendly whether it's the students, parents or staff.
I have been a student here for many years and Sifu Henry works hard to create a community where all are welcome. He is a great martial artist, a great instructor, and a great person. Highly recommended.
Great place to learn Kung Fu or Tai Chi. Several age-level classes are offered. Besides learning Kung Fu skills, you get a good workout. Students seem enthusiastic, motivated and happy. The style of Kung Fu is a Northern Style.
Your first tai chi class at Wu Yi Shaolin Martial Arts
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
