From the reviews
We are very happy with the White Dragon. They are serious about physical and cultural aspects of martial arts beyond usual job requirements and business development. They genuinely care for their students and they love what they do. My Son’s review: I am 11, and I have been going to White Dragon for two years.
We love this studio. My kids and I have been coming for a year and a half and seeing them grow in strength, confidence, flexibility, and martial spirit has been awesome. And being able to do it alongside them has been an unexpected bonus.
White dragon is a great school that I highly recommend. My first experience was in 2011 when I first joined the La Mesa branch. I love how the school is always available during regular hours to go and train and was a great way for anyone to find balance in work, social life and then seeing my own personal growth goals…
My wife and I were looking for a martial arts program for our two sons. We hand intended to check out several local programs. Our first visit was to White Dragon in Mira Mesa. The instructors were so positive, supportive, and great with kids that we signed up that very night.
Your first tai chi class at White Dragon Martial Arts - Mira Mesa (San Diego)
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
