From the reviews
Fred is a wonderful teacher. He had been teaching me both the tai chi and qigong, and I love how patient he is. I never feel uncomfortable asking him to show me something again, because I couldn't get the posture quite right.
I just wanted to Thank Fred for giving me the gift of Qi Gong. It has been a life changing experience for me! My blood pressure is normal again, I have more energy, I am more flexible , my back and knees no longer hurt, I sleep deeply and wake up refreshed , I even dream!
My husband and I have been taking classes for over a year and it is really helping us with balance and our General health. Fred is very knowledgeable about the healing aspects of the art of tai chi and if you think you are familiar wth it, you aren't. Give this class a try, you won't regret it.
Thanks to a wonderful teacher.....ive learned so much about being at peace, the deep breathing and release of negativity has helped me both at home and work. Xi gong is amazing.
Your first tai chi class at The Village of Healing and Wellness
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
