From the reviews

Marga was a lovely instructor with a sweet spirit! She teaches so well that I didn’t feel lost for a moment and I had never done Qi Gong before! I can’t wait to go to another of her classes whether in person or over zoom!

Participated in a grief workshop there which was beautifully planned and l artfully executed ..We were a small group of women all in various stages of grief and healing from having lost a child.

When I met Marga, I immediately sensed her big heart and clear intention to create a space for healing, growth, and community. As I was learning to manage a chronic health condition, I turned to expressive art as a path to healing.

★★★★★ — Liza, Jul 2025

I have been enjoying all the benifits of the healing energy created by engaging in the practice of "Qigong" instructed by Marga Fripps here at The Pollinators Foundation studio (called The Hive) at the old folkmoot building, for a year now. Most people have heard of "Tai Chi".

Your first tai chi class at The Pollinators Foundation

Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.

Tai chi is gentle and low-impact, but it's still exercise, and the health notes here are general information, not medical advice. If you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them to the instructor before class, and check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program.
