From the reviews
Since my wife dragged me to take this class with her, I have come to love and appreciate the art of Tai Chi. Randy, is a very gifted and caperable teacher, his attention to detail and teaching style is first class.
I don't live on the east coast at the moment but this is one of the places that I always look forward to, when I'm home visiting with family. The facility is at a cool studio located in the back of a cafe/video rental store. Well maintained, clean and can accommodate quite a few people at a time.
Living in the Boston Area for a year, I was looking for a place and an instructor to continue (and deepen) my own practice. I worked with Randy (both in class and with private instruction time) and must say that it was a great experience and that Randy is a very special and gifted instructor (not to say master).
Love the class! Randy is a very thorough and patient teacher. I would recommend learning tai chi with him. It has been a rewarding experience so far
Your first tai chi class at Swimming Dragon Tai Chi
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
