From the reviews
Tai Chi has changed my life. I never imagined there would be a martial arts school near my home that taught traditional martial arts and Tai Chi, a style that blends Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, which I had only seen in movies and on television.
My son goes here at the moment and Master Zhang is absolutely phenomenal. He has such a great way of teaching and I've seen my son grow in just the couple of months he's been with Pioneer Wushu Academy. I recommend everyone come here. It's a calm and focused environment for learning Wushu arts.
Thank you for being such an inspiring and patient teacher. Your passion for Chinese martial arts and the way you encourage every student to do their best makes every class enjoyable and motivating. My daughter is really grateful for your guidance and support!
This is a very professional martial arts center. Instructor Zhang is highly experienced and very patient. I highly recommend everyone to come and take classes here~
Your first tai chi class at Pioneer Wushu Academy - Kung Fu & Tai Chi
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
