From the reviews
I am soo thankful I found this practice. Amongst other key areas of my well being, Oom Yung Doe added a key piece to my mind, body and spirit. My whole self is improved and continues to develop skills each week. Mindful and present. Instructor Wade has made such an impact.
Wade is a very knowledgeable and patient instructor. He has a great school with a convenient Burlington location. He teaches many varieties of the arts, from Tai chi to Jujitsu. I highly recommend him for anyone who wants to learn From the beginner to advanced. Matt from Burlington
I truly love Wade’s Tai Chi classes. He builds the class by student’s ability. Very patient and thoughtful of all students well-being. I had been struggling with fine motor skills and agility, just generally needing better muscle toning exercises.
I have studied traditional Tai Chi and this form is different, more martial arts based, yet accessible and very enjoyable. Practice with Instructor Wade has improved my strength, balance and flexibility tremendously.

Your first tai chi class at Oom Yung Doe - 8 Martial Arts - Burlington, VT
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
