From the reviews

I had tried three other instructors and just did not feel comfortable before finding Mike and I have taken classes with him for 10 years. If you're considering learning Tai Chi, Mike is the best. What sets him apart is his inclusive teaching methodology.

I have been a client of Michael Fallon for over 10 years, and I can confidently say that he is an exceptional massage therapist. Michael's expertise in deep tissue work is truly remarkable, and his ability to alleviate pain and tension is unparalleled.

★★★★★ — Marissa, Feb 2024

I’ve been working with Mike for a couple of years and can’t recommend him highly enough. He has a remarkable understanding of the body and how movement impacts overall well-being. Every session leaves me feeling balanced, grounded, and moving more freely.

★★★★★ — Traci, Aug 2025

A great masseuse and a better person. He is talented. He can do a true deep tissue massage, hard to find these days. He can find tight spots you weren't aware of. I've fone to him for 10 years. He recently added Tai Chi classes and like his massages they are great as well. He he a talented and patient teacher.

Your first tai chi class at Ocean State Holistic Fitness

Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.

Tai chi is gentle and low-impact, but it's still exercise, and the health notes here are general information, not medical advice. If you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them to the instructor before class, and check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program.
