From the reviews

Josué is an EXCELLENT instructor!! He has a deep knowledge of Taiji, it shows in how he explains 'the why' during exercise sequences. He even explains how each sequence feels in the body, when done right, or when done wrong.

★★★★★ — K, Sep 2025

I highly recommend Josue as I have had over a year of experience with him and he has helped me and my 18yr son greatly. He is knowledgeable in the healing arts along with Taiji and the philosophy of energy balance in the body and breath.

★★★★★ — Holly, Aug 2025

Josue is such a kind person and a truly gifted practitioner. I drive from Dallas for his massages and Tai Ji trainings twice per month. His passion for helping his patients achieve optimal health comes through in everything he does.

★★★★★ — Michelle, Aug 2025

I have had several massages and Tai Chi lessons with Josue. It's clear he wants the best for people and their well being, it shows in his care and communication. In both Tai Chi and massage he's obviously passionate and very patient. I feel heard in my needs and he also helps me push past my own comfort.

Your first tai chi class at Naga Wellness

Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.

Tai chi is gentle and low-impact, but it's still exercise, and the health notes here are general information, not medical advice. If you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them to the instructor before class, and check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program.
