From the reviews
This is the real deal of Tai Chi. When I started at this wonderful studio, I had pains in my joints and over 6 months the pains left and I found myself getting stronger physically and mentally. My memory became sharper and I felt much happier in general. Dr.
Master Zhichao Ling is one of the best instructors I have had the privilege of training with. He is very good at helping through the fundamentals, while still making it fun.
Jeff Ivory I have been with Ling’s Oriental Martial Arts, for 1 year. I have a martial arts background, but desire more to become well rounded. I am learning the system of Long-Fist Kung Fu, from Dr. Zhichao Ling, Founder, President; Master Instructor. His credentials are impeccable and can be found on this site.
Great teacher! Master Ling has extensive knowledge and skills in so many areas! I love the taiji!
Your first tai chi class at Ling's Oriental Martial Arts, LLC
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
