From the reviews
I moved to Hammondsport five years ago, not knowing a soul. I still remember my first yoga class at Keuka Peaceful Roots, and how - even from that very first moment - I could feel just how special a place it was. Since then, I have met so many kind and genuine individuals who are a part of the KPR family.
Licia and Gwen lead an amazing yoga class for our bride and bachlorette group at our location! Plans changed last minute and Keuka Peaceful Roots worked with us to accommodate our inquiry! Our group truly enjoyed the yoga class and raved about the technique and pace of the class, it was truly a highlight of the trip!
Absolutely lovely people teaching and taking the classes. My husband has noticed his balance has improved, and I didn't even realize I had back discomfort until it was gone! We couldn't be happier. We have an amazing woman in her nineties in our class. ❤️
Great yoga studio! They have been really accommodating during the covid crisis, offering online classes and sliding scale fees.
Your first tai chi class at Keuka Peaceful Roots
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
