From the reviews
I joined Human Harmonies at the encouragement of my friend . I had never entertained the idea of joining a program like this. She told me all of the health benefits she had gained. I thought I had nothing to lose and signed up for the free class. I was greeted by Jill, the owner and the other students.
I am thrilled to have found this studio! I was searching for a health focused activity, specifically geared toward improving my balance, flexibility, stamina and mental acuity. I have found all that and more at Human Harmonies.
A friend suggested that I try Qigong as I was having some balance issues. I was a bit skeptical but thought that I would give it a try. I found Human Harmonies and the classes have exceeded my expectations.
I have benefited greatly from the Human Harmonies classes since I began April 2019. My strength and overall fitness has improved greatly—even my bone density has improved! The instructor is very knowledgeable and we learn something new each class.
Your first tai chi class at Human Harmonies, Chelmsford
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
