From the reviews
2024 has been a challenging year, I’ve been dealing with health issues and have felt overwhelmed by the number of medical appointments, tests, and medications that have become my new routine. My How We Heal session was exactly what I needed to feel ready and able to get started.
I had the fortunate opportunity to run across Mary’s website, which led me to, two phenomenal events that she hosted and of course the opportunity to meet and work with her! The first was a seminar, that she was co-hosting about perimenopause.
My Heart Stone Experience guided by Mary Morrison was truly evolutionary and cleared some blocks of the past, keeping me from experiencing a new level of intimacy freedom in my partnership. This freedom has helped move me forward in all other areas of my life…. work, family, friendships.
I’m a cabinet maker and injured my shoulder at my shop. This is where my work with Mary started. With acupuncture and qigong movements, my torn rotator cuff healed. But this was just the beginning. With the amazing, non surgical results of my shoulder, I decided to go all-in on everything she offers.
Your first tai chi class at How We Heal
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
