From the reviews
Golden Dragon is one of the jewels of Los Angeles. I have been a student for one year now and I can say it has changed my life. I cannot imagine ever stopping my chi gong and tai chi practice. This is why— · The club and tea room are inspiring spaces that are beautifully and carefully designed and decorated.
I began training at Golden Dragon Martial Arts School with Master Valeriy and Head Instructor Dmitry over six months ago. I have never enjoyed any type of exercise or fitness activity more, and I have never benefitted more, both physically and mentally from training.
This school is really cool! Trainings are really crazy!!! The instructor makes you to do the exercises you have never meant to do!!! Suddenly you find out some muscles in your body you never expected you have!!!!
THE Best Place to learn martial arts in LA. Training involves stretching, conditioning, and fundamental techniques. The classes taught me how to stand, breath, focus, with enormous health benefits. Priceless!
Your first tai chi class at Golden Dragon Martial Arts Club
Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.
