From the reviews

Review is for yoga class. Found this place on groupon. Overall I really enjoyed the classes I take here. They tend to be calmer and slower paced. The main downside is limited time offerings, and one of best classes - Tim's Sivanandra yoga - is offered mainly during regular work day hours. Staff is very friendly.

I went to AHG for several years, through two pregnancies and all! I also saw a few providers there over the years but always had a preference for Dr. Tim. No matter what I had going on, he always had an effective solution. I felt very comfortable expressing any details of my physical or mental health.

★★★★★ — Danny, Oct 2022

I am a longtime yoga practitioner and I find alternative health group to offer excellent classes at an affordable price. I also take the tai chi classes which are fantastic. I have used Acupuncture treatments by Tim Suh who is one of the best at it. They also offer massage therapy which was grade A.

★★★★★ — Michael, Mar 2019

I have seen Dr. Suh for years- he is a remarkable clinician and healer. He is that rare blend of wise, kind, experienced, humble, and intuitive one hopes to find when seeking an integrated approach to health care. Gail Basch, M.D.

Your first tai chi class at Alternative Health Group LLC

Nervous about walking into a tai chi class for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good instructors expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a gentle warm-up, then learning a few slow movements of the form, step by step — no pressure to get it perfect, and you can rest or sit whenever you need to. What to wear: loose, comfortable clothing you can move in, and flat, flexible shoes (some studios practice in socks or bare feet). What to bring: water, and that's about it — there's no equipment to buy. Arrive a few minutes early to say hello to the instructor and mention it's your first class. It comes together faster than you'd think — most people feel far more at ease by their second or third visit.

Tai chi is gentle and low-impact, but it's still exercise, and the health notes here are general information, not medical advice. If you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them to the instructor before class, and check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program.
